Inspiration – Shoptiques
Here’s my travel outfit from last week. Comfy basics with a print accessory. Easy peasy. I had two flights that were both totally arctic so I was really glad I wore this scarf and carried my coat over my arm instead of packing them in my carry-on.
My TSA pre-check finally went through (delay being my own laziness not the government) so it was pretty exciting to get to keep my shoes on through security. It was less exciting to realize Tory Burch medallions are metal and will set off a metal detector and you end up having to back up, hold the line up and take them off anyway. Whoomp-whoomp.

The scarf looks perfect with the grey sweater!

Thanks!
TSA Pre-check is a dream, isn’t it? Although, I find a lot of my shoes have metal shanks in the arches, so completely understand the frustration of having to take them off anyway. I’ve learned to remember the ones that seem to work (and it’s not always consistent) and they become my go-to travel shoes. Enjoy your posts and glad to see you back!
Thanks for the tips! 🙂
Great, comfy travel look!

Thank you!
Congrats on the new project! From one SW PM to another, that is super exciting you were trusted with a large and high-profile projects. It is such a hard to find the right dynamic for you between loving and being successful at work with family! Great job and best of luck!
Love the outfit! My last trip was a 24 hour trip, so I had to travel there and back in my suit (although I replaced the jacket with a fleece on the plane)… traveling in cute/cozy travel clothes is much better!
